The quest to make events and locations safer began in 2023 when Dr. Chris Green and Mike Furman were at a crossroads. As leaders of a successful behavioral crisis team within a psychiatric hospital, they were increasingly in demand as a speaker and advisor to organizations nationwide seeking to duplicate the transformational results their team had achieved.

Their experiences underscored the importance of non-violent approaches to crisis management and highlighted the effectiveness of communication in diffusing tense situations. By sharing their insights and strategies, they aimed to help other organizations replicate their success, ultimately contributing to a safer environment for everyone involved in various events and locations across the country.
